Dog of War was painted in response to President Trump's announcement that the U.S. will sell weapons to NATO so they can bomb Russia. Trump is pushing it as 'good for our economy' because of the money the USA will make selling these weapons. He also may impose secondary tariffs on Russia if a peace deal isn’t reached within 50 days.
The snarling dog—emblazoned with the NATO emblem—represents the alliance as both protector and provoker.
